Friday qualifying

If things changed little in the second session, the order did although change after both sessions. The #12 Larbre Ferrari was disqualified fore ignoring the red light and the #28 Aston DBR9 lost its best time, as the wing was too large. The third session starts under a threatening sky, but it is dry. The #121 Viper takes profit out of it to set a time under dry conditions as does the #66 Gruppe M Porsche. A number of cars stay in its bow whereas the majority on the track only seems to be concerned with set-up for the race. Cars improving are ea: the #121, #22, #66, #28, #170, #171, ... But things seem to settle. The #28 Aston takes the spoils followed by both Vitaphone cars. The race starts tomorrow at 16.00 after a last warm-up session in the early morning hours.
