Providing an annual meeting place for the general aviation community, AERO Friedrichshafen is a perfect platform for innovation and the driving force for the entire industry.
Global networking opportunities and sustainable cooperation with major aviation associations are the keys to AERO’s success. Partnership with these associations allows AERO Friedrichshafen to seek out and address issues of importance to the general aviation community and to organize supporting events which add significant value to the trade show.
AERO responds to the needs of the market with innovative ideas and new networking opportunities. For example, the Light Aircraft Manufacturers Association Europe (LAMA-EU) was founded by 33 leading European light aircraft manufacturers at AERO 2010.
Show Highlights 2013
International - Informative - Innovative. In the frame of AERO CONFERENCES aviation specialists and connoisseurs of the industry will present and discuss current topics and latest developments available for everyone.
In hall A6 the Avionics Avenue informs about flight control and management systems, communications systems, navigation devices, displays, weather radar, and air and ground radar systems of different manufacturers at first glance.
Possibilities to experience the avionic equipment by yourself will be given in an avionic test center or learn about new developments in product presentations and workshops!
After a successful start in 2012 engines and propulsion systems will be in the focus of AERO 2013. Whether it be radial engines, hybrid propulsion systems or electric motors, this special exhibition will give its visitors a comprehensive overview of the products available on the market.
Moreover, additional topics such as maintenance and engine management will be part of the Engine Area 2013.
Airborne research also plays an important role in general aviation. General aviation aircraft are equipped with sensors and measuring devices and civil UAVs, most commonly known as drones, are used for environmental research and earth observation. The "Observe by air" special exhibition presents civil applications and various projects in the field of unmanned and manned airborne research. More details will be available here soon!
